U3A members are expected to conduct themselves within the movements “guiding principles”. This member Code of Conduct clarifies the standards of behaviour expected of members of Great Glen Oadby & Wigston u3a. Members are expected to:
• know, follow and promote the Principles of the u3a Movement at every opportunity.
• always act in the best interests of Great Glen Oadby & Wigston u3a and the u3a Movement, strive to uphold their reputation and never do anything which could bring Great Glen, Oadby & Wigston u3a or the u3a Movement into disrepute or expose them to undue risk.
• use the resources of and facilities provided by Great Glen Oadby & Wigston u3a responsibly and solely to further its stated charitable objects/purposes.
• observe the published policies of Great Glen, Oadby & Wigston u3a.
• be familiar with Great Glen Oadby & Wigston u3a’s procedures and practices and to abide strictly by them.
• treat each other and our guests with dignity and respect at all times.
