We are on our feet for up to an hour and half while the stroll leader guides us along a 'heritage' trail. We stop in quiet places to hear the details of the buildings and the people.
Some of the group like to drop in at a café/pub at the end of the walk for a further chat and a coffee/tea or light lunch.
All strolls are arranged through a booking system. Requests are put on a waiting list until the Leader notifies everyone of who has been successful. Normally strolls are over subscribed and not everyone is accepted. If places become available names are taken from the waiting list. There are a couple of spare places for the repeat at Tilton on Tuesday 7th July.
The group operates on the expectation that everyone will be able to volunteer to co-lead a stroll in the next year or so. The leader will find partners for those that would like support. There were four new leaders for 2025 and four more for 2026.
